Last Year - 2009 Prayer Summit Focus:Covenant, Community & Convocation

As the facilitation team took time to pray in advance of the Summit, they sensed we should  seek the Lord in these three areas: Covenant, Community, and Convocation, asking the Lord to give us greater understanding and establish these realities in our midst.

Prayer Summit Michindoh

Times of worship were very rich as we had time to spend extended periods in the Lord's presence.  This time together depended our community, as one first-time attendee commented, "He caused me to appreciate the brothers & sister.  He gave me hope to realize the church in a greater way -- May God water our convocations, small or great."

Responses to the question What was most positive for you about the Summit?
  • Meal times/Fellowship:  The Lord's presence in the open atmosphere were excellent.  Worshipping the Lord & looking to Him -- no special agendas.  Everything!
  • Community praise & ownership.
  • Our common meals, two tables packed with everyone! Riding out together!  Prophetic prayer was helpful.
  • I thought communion was absolutely significant.  Traditions and wisdom of man would have suggested we shouldn't have done it.  We chose obedience to Christ and that was a sign of breakthrough.
  • Prophetic ministry; taking communion; corporate worship
  • The theme was good -- allowing for enough structure to help me feel focused through the 3 days and still allowing for the desired flexibility for God to do with us what God wanted.
  • The opportunity for prayer by the teams who offered prophetic senses -- my first experience -- was/is very interesting -- much to think/pray about.  It will be an interesting year to come!
  • Being together
  • Three full days was good.  Free prayer & praise time (unstructured) was good.
  • The pre-planning and resulting organizational dynamic of covenant, community and convocation helped all of us to 'be on the same page'.
  • Fellowship -- always so good, so refreshing; times around the table, etc
  • Worship -- always good every year;   4) Tues.night  -  great joy & freedom during corporate time -- excellent prayer ministry;

Personally this may have well been 'best' prayer summit to date -- start to finish
